About Us Get to know SaferHost...

you'll be glad you did.

SaferHost Web Services is the web services division of the Rescott, LLC, a business services firm that has been serving the Indianapolis, Indiana market since 1997.

Introduced in June 2002, SaferHost's mission is to provide a secure and reliable web hosting environment for small to medium sized businesses. We strive to provide flexibility in the services that we provide, such as Linux and Windows-based hosting, ASP and Cold Fusion support.

The multi-million dollar Data Center that SaferHost uses is located in Orlando, Florida and is staffed 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Among the equipment installed in the data center are 7500 series Cisco routers, Sun, Cobalt, VALinux and Custom Server, a 200 KVA UPS emergency power system, and a 2,000 gallon diesel generator.

SaferHost's servers are currently connected by redundant OC-3 providers, Level(3), Epik and Qwest.

SaferHost uses intelligent end-user routing software called Border Gateway Protocol (BGP) between the OC-3's. BGP identifies which path is the most efficient for each data packet and then routes the packet to its destination on the fastest path. This increases the speed at which web pages sent from our NOC arrive at their destination.

Businesses and schools need uptime reliability and security from hackers and thieves, so our focus is on server security and redundancies not found in other so-called business-class hosts. That way, we can protect your business.
